The series revolves around the events of World War I, focusing especially on the Kut al-Amara campaign (Kut'ül-Amare). The story begins in Istanbul, portraying the formation of special military units such as the Teşkilat-ı Mahsusa (Special Organization) and the rise of the Young Ottoman Army. Central characters like Süleyman Askerî and Mehmet are driven by patriotism and the desire to fight for their nation's independence, ultimately finding themselves on the front lines of war.
