Alparslan: The Great Seljuks is a Turkish historical drama series that follows the life and conquests of Sultan Alp Arslan, the second great sultan of the Seljuk dynasty. The story focuses on his efforts to expand the Seljuk Empire, confront powerful enemies and open the way into Anatolia. Political rivalries, military campaigns and major battles shape Alp Arslan's journey as he fights to strengthen the Seljuk state. The series also leads toward the historic Battle of Manzikert, a major turning point in the history of Anatolia. Starring Barış Arduç as Sultan Alp Arslan, the series concluded in 2023 after 2 seasons and 61 episodes.
